BIRD PICKUP for RI, MA, CT bird lovers
Placing your Order and Payment:
Simply email me the type and quantity of birds you'd like along with the Zip Code where you'd like the birds shipped. Once I have calculated the costs, I will send you an email with the details. If you'd then like to place the order, I will create a ‘special order’ for you and send you a link to the order on my website. You simply click on the link and complete the payment for the order. Your information is totally secure, I never see your credit card information. I accept: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. I will accept a money order if you so desire.
Guarantee:
Birds are guaranteed to arrive alive and healthy or your money for the cost of the bird will be refunded unless otherwise stated to you. Once they are dropped off at either the post office or an airline terminal, it is out of my control as to how the birds are handled. It is the responsibility of the post office or airlines to get them to you safely. I can honestly say that I ship close to 600 birds per year and it is rare that a bird is dead on arrival to a customer. Kudos to USPS and Delta for taking care of the live animals that they deliver.
I have no control over delayed flights or late arrivals from the post office. I will provide you, via email, all the information regarding tracking numbers and flight itineraries once I receive them from the carrier. I will not be able to refund any monies paid shipping. Absolutely no refund will be given for the cost of transportation, boxes, bird crates. I will only reimburse you for the cost of the bird or birds purchased.

- Shipping by USPS usually takes between 1 and 3 days anywhere in the United States.
- USPS approved bird shipping box must be used for this. The cost of the box is included in the shipping fee.
- Restrictions apply as to the number of birds per box. Additional boxes may be required based on quantity of birds ordered.
- Food, juicy fruits/vegetables (apples, cucumbers) are provided in the box for the trip.
- Birds are usually shipped on Monday or Tuesday to arrive to you during the week.
- USPS shipping costs will be calculated based on your location. Cost run from $20 to $65.
- USPS will contact you by telephone once your birds arrive at your local post office.
- You should check with your post office prior to arrival so they are aware of the shipment and can contact you as soon as the birds arrive.
- Once birds arrive, they should be removed immediately and feed fresh seed and fresh water.
- Total cost including shipping and shipping box is around $30 -$70. This does not include the price of the birds you select.
SHIPPING BIRDS BY AIRLINE (Delta):
- I ship via airlines year round.
- Birds will usually arrive to you the same day they are shipped
- A USDA approved airline shipping crate must be used and will be charged as part of the order.
- Food, juicy fruits/vegetables (apples, cucumbers) are provided in the box for the trip.
- Shipping has to be coordinated with the airline between my location and yours. Date/Time will be confirmed with you by telephone.
- Airline shipping costs will be calculated based on your location.
- Total cost including shipping and shipping crate is around $180. This does not include the price of the birds you select.
BIRD PICKUP for RI, MA, CT bird lovers
- I will meet locally here in Cranston for local pickups but there is a minimum order of $100 worth of birds.
- If you are in driving distance of Cranston, RI; I can arrange to meet you for pickup.
- My aviary is a 'closed' aviary, meaning that I do not allow anyone into the aviary. Sorry. :(
- For pickup: I usually will meet at an easy to find, centralized location to show and deliver the birds
- I usually bring a few birds with me based on the specific color and quality that you are wanting so you can choose.
- I will also sometimes email photos of available birds to you prior to us setting up a pickup. This allows you to see the available stock.
- All pickups are arranged via email and possibly a telephone conversation if needed.
